A tropical desert climate is the best way to describe Dubai. May through October is summer, and it is very hot with temperatures reaching 40 °C or higher. The coolest time is December through February when daytime temperatures average 23 °C and nighttime temperatures may go as low as 14 °C.

Dubai is one and a half hours behind Mumbai, so when you land, you'll need to turn your watch back to be in sync with the locals.
