Malaga Airport has been recently expanded and is now a large and well-organised airport with two terminals and busy because of its access to all major resorts in the Costa del Sol. After landing you’ll be transferred to the terminal building by bus and then there’s around a 20 minute walk to baggage reclaim.

Arrivals is located on the ground floor of Terminal 2 and after exiting the gates from baggage reclaim, you simply walk directly ahead to the exit. If you do not have a transfer to your hotel arranged the taxi rank is reached by exiting the terminal building and turning right for around 200m and the taxis are on the left. Alternatively a bus ticket office is situated outside of the arrivals terminal with several stops nearby and bus routes to most of the major Costa del Sol destinations such as the city of Malaga, Torremolinos and Fuengirola.

If you have hired a car from Malaga Airport you will find the desks for Hertz, Avis, Goldcar, Europcar, Sixt, Enterprise and Record Go in Terminals 1 and 2.
