Terminal Information – Departing
Norwich Airport has one terminal. There are two places to enjoy a bite to eat: Cafe Oasis and The Yard of Ale pub. Cafe Oasis serves Costa Coffee, perfect if you're on the 6am flight. Take advantage of tax free shopping in Eclipse Duty Free, which sells a range of luxury items including perfume, alcohol and designer sunglasses. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal. If you haven't brought your laptop you can use the internet desks for tasks a little heavier than your smartphone can handle. The Multiyork Executive Lounge is perfect for a bit of added luxury. Terminal Information – Arriving
Schiphol Plaza is the arrivals area where passengers from every flight will eventually end up. All of the transport options can be found here. The fastest way from the airport to downtown Amsterdam is by train. Single tickets to Centraal Station cost €3.90* (about £2.80). Buy them before you board: there are ticket machines throughout the station. The better option if you're staying near Museumplein or Leidseplein is the Airport Bus. Tickets cost €5* (about £3.60). Taxis are the most expensive option at €40-50 (£29-36). Cabs are metered, so the price will depend on which neighbourhood you're going to.
You need a valid passport to fly from Norwich to Amsterdam. Aim to arrive at the airport 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to leave. Give yourself a bit of extra time if you're flying during the school holidays or if you want to check some luggage into the hold.
What to expect in Amsterdam
