Terminal Information – Arriving
Flights from Liverpool land in Terminal 1, which is dedicated to non-Schengen arrivals and departures. The airport is 12 miles away from the city centre. There's no metro station at the airport but you can take a bus to the nearest one. Buy your ticket from the DPP kiosk in the arrivals hall, the public transport kiosks in the terminal, or the vending machines beside the bus stop. The same ticket can be used on all public transportation for the validity period. When you buy your ticket you can choose from 30 minutes, 90 minutes, or three days: a good choice if you're visiting for the weekend. You need to validate the ticket before boarding by stamping it at the machine. If you want to take the Airport Express Bus you will need to buy a different ticket, which costs CZK 60* (about £1.70). The bus stops at three destinations in the city centre: Hlavní Nádraží, Masarykovo Nádraží, and Náměstí Republiky. Taxis are also available from outside the terminal, and usually charge around CZK 400-800* (roughly £11.50-£23). Car hire at Prague Airport is available through Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, Rent Plus, Dvorak Rent a Car and Czechocar. Remember to compare prices with Skyscanner.
