Airport Transfer to the City
The majority of flights from Istanbul to Dubai arrive in Dubai through Dubai International Airport (DXB), one of the busiest airports in the world. The airport is served by three terminals with Terminal One serving all international airlines apart from Emirates and Qantas. Terminal Two serves flydubai and other low-cost carriers. Terminal Three serves all Qantas and Emirates flights only. The airport free shuttle goes from one terminal to another.
The airport is 3 miles away from the city. Connect to the city centre using Dubai Metro trains, which leave every 10 minutes. Alternatively, you may use Dubai's airport shuttle and public buses running regularly. The bus station is located opposite the terminals. Hertz, Europcar and SIXT are among the car rental companies available. Metred taxis are also available on a 24-hour basis.
At the airport, you can enjoy international cuisine from Marrybrown, Brioche Doree and Caviar House & Prunier Seafood. Duty-free stores will serve your shopping needs. Apart from different ATMs in all terminals, there are branches of Dubai Islamic Bank and Emirates NBD for your banking needs. The cost of meals in Dubai is 47 per cent higher than in Istanbul.
