Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris is one of the most popular flight routes from Edinburgh Airport with EasyJet, Flybe and Air France both offering direct flights to the French capital on a daily basis.
Flights to Paris Orly Airport are available daily and served by British Airways, Air France and KLM however these have connections in London Heathrow, Birmingham or Amsterdam.
The desk for easyJet and Air France flights from Edinburgh to Paris are on the ground floor of the terminal building in check-in zone A. Passengers are advised to arrive 2 hours before departure if not already checked-in.

The taxi rank is directly opposite as you walk through arrivals.
A major train station for the TGV and RER B railway services is located beneath terminal two of the airport, between concourses C/D and E/F. Trains to Paris and various other French and Belgian cities are available from this station.
Flybe, easyJet and Air France offer a mobile check-in service which is available by downloading their respective apps. This can make your journey flow much easier because the app sends the boarding pass to your phone, avoiding any check in at the airport.
What to expect in Paris
When arriving from Edinburgh the first thing to note is the change in time, with Paris one hour ahead of The UK. The most important thing to remember is that Paris is an extremely expensive city!
