Edinburgh Airport

Located just outside of the city centre of Edinburgh with direct tram and bus links Edinburgh Airport is easily accessible. Passengers on flights from Edinburgh to Alicante should aim to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart. Both Ryanair and Easyjet only offer check in in advance online or via mobile app which must be completed 2 hours before your flight time. If you have luggage you need to check in there are bag drop desks in the check in hall, these close 40 minutes before the flight departure time.

There is just one, easy to navigate terminal with an exciting selection of shops and a wide range of food and drink options in the departures lounge. For the last minute holiday shopping you will find Boots, Superdrug Wellbeing and WH Smiths, for fashion and gifts you can head to World Duty Free, Dixons, Liquorice Tree, Kurt Geiger and Accessorize. If you have time for spa treatments before your flight there is the Aerospa which offers a number of manicures, pedicures and massage treatments. The Murcia and Valencia regions of Spain are served by Alicante Airport, located 12km to the south of Alicante.

Onward travel options available from Alicante Airport are taxis, car hire and buses. The bus services serve all the major resorts in the region such as Alicante, Murcia and Benidorm and depart from outside of the terminal. If you are staying away from the resorts, car hire and taxis may be your only option with car hire companies such as Enterprise, GoldCar and Europcar operating desks within the arrivals hall. The taxi rank can be found outside of the terminal.
