JA Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport (YQY) is a small airport. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal so you can keep up with the news or make a few last minute travel arrangements. If you don't want to use your smartphone you can use the airport's computer kiosks, which are free to use. There's one place to eat at the airport: Chef Todd's Catering and Deli. They serve sit-down meals and coffee, as well as grab 'n' go sandwiches.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Arriving passengers at Singapore Changi Airport pass through the departure hall before going through passport control. If you're not in a hurry, feel free to shop and eat before heading through immigration. Once you get through you have a few options for reaching the city centre.
· Book a taxi ($55* for a four-seater and $60* for a seven-seater), limousine ($50*) or shuttle ($9* per adult) from the Ground Transport Desk. The desk is open 24 hours a day.
· Take a taxi from the rank. This should cost about $20-30*.
· Take an MRT train. The station is in between terminals 2 and 3. Tickets cost $1.90* (plus a $1* deposit).
· Take a bus. Tickets cost less than $3*, and there are stops in the basement of every terminal.

Practical Information
You need to have a valid passport to fly to Singapore from Canada, with at least six months validity from the date you arrived. As immigration might ask to see your onward or return ticket, we recommend booking your flights from Singaporebefore you arrive. Canadian (and British) passport holders don't usually need a visa to visit Singapore for business, tourism or socialising if the trip lasts for 30 days or less. We recommend arriving at Sydney Airport at least 90 minutes before flight departure.
What to expect in Singapore
