Manchester to Tenerife is one of the busiest routes at the airport with a number of airlines offering flights. Daily flights from Manchester to Tenerife are operated by Ryanair, Monarch, Easyjet, Jet2, Thomas Cook and Thomson Airlines. All airlines fly to Tenerife South Airport.
It is advised that you arrive at Manchester Airport at least 2 hours before your flight to Tenerife is due to depart to ensure you have enough time to check in and go through security. Check in options include the self-service and staffed check in desks at the airport and online check in which is offered by all of the airlines that fly to Tenerife. Jet2, Easyjet, Ryanair and Thomson Airlines also offer mobile check in via an app which stores your boarding pass.
Easyjet, Jet2 and Thomas Cook flights depart from Terminal 1 which is considered the best terminal for shopping with a number of designer brands and high street favourites within the departures lounge. Attitude Designer Fashion, Next, Clarins and Pandora are just some of the many shops here. Places to eat feature Giraffe, Soho Coffee Co. and Mi Casa Burritos.
Monarch and Thomson Airlines flights depart from Terminal 2, here you will find WHSmith, Boots, Biza Duty Free Shopping and a small selection of other shops. Brodericks, Burger King and Frankie and Benny’s are just a few of the bars and restaurants available. If you are travelling with children there are two play areas located in the lounge, one for under 3s and another for children aged 3 to 8.
Ryanair passengers should head to Terminal 3 where their flight departs, a small selection of shops and eateries are located here. These include Costa Coffee, Pork and Pickle, Boots and Accessorize.
An additional shopping bag policy is in operation at Manchester Airport which allows you to take a standard sized bag of shopping from the airport on board with your hand luggage.

Tenerife South Airport
Tenerife South Airport is located to the south of the island in easy reach of popular holiday resorts Playa de la Americas and Costa Adeje.
Within the arrivals terminal there are small shops, a Café Ritazza and a number of onward travel options. Car hire desks are located within the arrivals hall and a taxi rank is located outside of the airport entrance. Titsa Bus services are available from the airport to key tourist destinations on the island and Tenerife North Airport running regularly throughout the day. A single journey between Tenerife South Airport and Costa Adeje costs around 3 euros.
