Terminal Information – Departing

easyJet and Jet2.com fly from Terminal 1, Thomson Airways and Monarch Airlines fly from Terminal 2, and Flybe fly from Terminal 3. Passengers travelling from Manchester Airport get one hour of free Wi-Fi. Each terminal has its own Escape lounge, which you can book into for £19.99. Terminal 1 has a nice array of high street shops, including Fat Face and Monsoon. It also has a bar where you can pour your own beer, as well as the usual selection of coffee shops and restaurants. Terminal 2 also has a small but well-formed selection of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. Enjoy a sit down meal at Frankie & Benny's, or indulge in a quick coffee at Broderick's. Terminal 3 is quite basic, but has all of the airport essentials: duty free shops, a few cafes, and a Boots for those last minute toiletries.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Geneva Airport only has one terminal. There's a train station underground, offering fast connections to the city centre. Six public buses run between the airport and local destinations. If you're not sure which bus to get, you can use the airport's free Wi-Fi to find out. People flying into Geneva are entitled to 80 minutes of free public transport. You can pick up your Unireso ticket at the machine in the baggage collection area. Practical Information

You need a valid passport to travel into Switzerland. We recommend giving yourself plenty of time at the airport. Arrive at least 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart, or two hours before if you have luggage to check in. Airport security is at its busiest first thing in the morning, early in the evening, at weekends and during school holidays. If your flight falls during any of these times we recommend arriving a lot earlier.

What to expect in Geneva
