You need a valid passport to travel into Switzerland. We recommend giving yourself plenty of time at the airport. Arrive at least 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart, or two hours before if you have luggage to check in. Airport security is at its busiest first thing in the morning, early in the evening, at weekends and during school holidays. If your flight falls during any of these times we recommend arriving a lot earlier.
