Flights from Edinburgh serve both of Belfast’s airports. Easyjet operates flights from Edinburgh to Belfast International Airport and Flybe operates flights from Edinburgh to Belfast City Airport.
You should arrive at Edinburgh Airport at least one hour before your flight to Belfast is scheduled to depart. You can check in for your flight at the staffed or self-service check-in desks in the terminal, or online, with the EasyJet app or using the SMS boarding pass from Flybe. Bag drop desks are available for any hold luggage.
There is one terminal at Edinburgh Airport with a selection of shops and food and drink outlets in the departure lounge. Belfast International Airport
Belfast International Airport is located 20 miles from Belfast with taxis and public transport available from outside of the terminal building to take you into the city centre. The Airport Express Bus service runs every 15 minutes throughout the day and stops at the Belfast Europa Bus Centre, taking up to 40 minutes. A number of car hire companies are located within the terminal and excellent motorway connections run from the airport to Belfast.
Belfast City Airport
Belfast City Airport is the closer of the two airports to Belfast just 4 miles from the city centre. Easy access to the city is provided by bus, taxis and car hire. A taxi into Belfast will cost approximately £10.
The Airport Express 600 bus service runs from the airport to Belfast Europa Bus Centre every 20 minutes and every 40 minutes on Sundays.
You will need to provide photographic identification for domestic flights within the UK, acceptable forms include a passport or driving licence. If you are using another form of ID you should confirm that it is acceptable with the airline before flying.
