Terminal Information – Departing

Birmingham Airport only has one terminal, but its packed with everything you need for a positive pre-flight experience. As well as shops and restaurants, you'll find plenty to keep you entertiained. The nail bar (Cloud Nails) is perfect for a relaxing pre-holiday manicure, while the flight simulator (Softek Sim) really gets you into the spirit of things. If you enjoy a bit of luxury, you can check into one of two executive lounges. The Aspire Lounge and No.1 Traveller Lounge are both open to general passengers. Inside you can enjoy complimentary snacks, drinks and Wi-Fi. Prices start at £21.99* but it's cheaper if you pre-book.

Enjoy high street shopping at the likes of Boots, Accessorize, and JD Sports, or pick up a few souvenirs at Discover England. Eye Love sunglasses is a must visit if you're off to sunny Alicante. Nobody likes to fly on an empty stomach, and at Birmingham you don't have to. You can grab a coffee and cake at Caffe Ritazza, Caffe Nero, or Costa. Terminal Information – Arriving

Alicante Airport has one terminal. The arrivals hall is on Floor 0, and the departures area is on Floor 2. There's a taxi rank outside the arrivals hall, but you will need to go up to Floor 2 to catch a bus. If you're going into Alicante, catch Bus C-6. From here you can find onward transport to other towns in the area. One-way tickets are €3.85* (about £2.85). If you're taking a taxi into Alicante, you can expect to pay €20-25 (about £14.75-£18.45). If you're staying in one of the Costa Blanca resorts, you might want to hire a car.
