The lounge offers unlimited Wi-Fi (in the main departure lounge you only get one hour) as well as a range of complimentary snacks and drinks. Terminal 3 has a small selection of shops: Biza Duty Free, Boots, Dixons Travel and Accessorize. There are two coffee shops (Costa and Caffe Nero), an Italian restaurant (Trattoria Milano), and a sandwich shop (Upper Crust).
Terminal Information – Arriving
Jersey Airport only has one terminal. You can catch Bus 15 to St Helier just outside. The journey takes half an hour and single tickets cost £2*. There's also a taxi rank. Taxis are metered, but you should expect to pay about £15* for the drive into St Helier. Car hire is available from Avis, Hertz and Europcar. If you're planning to drive, remember to compare car hire at Jersey Airport before you fly.
Jersey is part of the Common Travel Area (along with the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man and the other Channel Islands). You don't need a passport to fly from Jersey to the UK, but you will need a form of photographic ID such as your driving license. You should arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart. If you're travelling during the school holidays or planning to check some luggage into the hold you should give yourself a bit of extra time to navigate longer queues.
What to expect in Jersey
Jersey isn't part of the UK but they use the Pound Sterling. The island is a few degrees warmer than Manchester, both in summer and winter, due to its southerly latitude. Jersey is very rural. There are only two bus services on the island, so we recommend hiring a car if you want to explore. Jersey has a fantastic nightlife, and there are lots of trendy bars and clubs in St Helier. As it's an island, Jersey can be quite expensive. The prices in the pubs are similar to what you would expect to pay in London.
