Brisbane Airport is approximately 14 kilometres north east of Brisbane city centre. The airport is split into two terminals, one for domestic flights and the other for international flights.

Car hire desks are located on level 2 of the international arrivals hall, as is a Con-X-ion Airport Transfer information desk. There’s also a taxi rank located at the northern end of level 2. Public transport options from the airport include bus and the AirTrain.
It takes 24 minutes to reach Brisbane city centre on the AirTrain, around 15 minutes by taxi and a little longer by bus. If you’re taking a taxi, be aware that an extra airport fee of €3.50 and the cost of toll booths may be added to your fare.

Brisbane enjoys a subtropical climate. This means hot, humid summers and winters with warm temperatures. December to February marks Brisbane’s summer when temperatures reach 35°c and there are often thunderstorms. June to August is Brisbane’s winter. However temperatures rarely drop into single figures and you’re still likely to enjoy highs of around 20°c.
