Terminal Information

Miami International Airport

Miami International Airport has three terminals, North, Central and South. American Airlines flights to New York depart from the North Terminal, United and Frontier depart from the Central Terminal and Delta flights depart from the South Terminal.

Each terminal has a selection of shops and places to eat, with the South terminal having one of the better shopping experiences in the airport. You will see brands such as L'Occitane, Books 4 Travel, Tim 4 Shades, and Bead Factory. There’s a great choice when it comes to dining with Café Versailles, Quiznos, the Heineken Bar and others all available.

Wi-Fi is available in the airport though the free service is limited, you can upgrade for $7.95 for 24 hours.

New York John F. Kennedy Airport

There are six terminals at John F. Kennedy Airport. American Airlines flights from Miami arrive into Terminal 8, Delta’s flights arrive into Terminal 2.

The Airport is 12 miles south of Manhattan which you can reach by train, car rental, bus or taxi. The AirTrain shuttle service connects the terminals, car parks, hotel shuttles, the LIRR train line and the Central Terminal Area.

Buses depart from the Central Terminal Area with most stopping at subway stations if you wish to make a connection with Lines A, E, J and Z. For those who don't wish to navigate public transport, taxis may be the easiest option, leaving from stands outside the terminals. Taxis charge a flat fare of $52 to Manhattan plus tips, tax and tolls (approximately $11.50 in total).

New York Newark Airport

American Airlines flights arrive into Terminal A, United Airlines flights arrive into Terminal C. The terminals are connected by a shuttle train, which also runs to the New Liberty International Airport Station. From here you can get information about connecting services to New York and New Jersey. You will also find bus services here which run to key points within New York such as the Port Authority Bus Station, and Grand Central Bus Terminal.

A fare from Newark Airport to New York City will cost anywhere between $50 and $70 depending on where you are travelling to. You will also be required to pay tolls on top of this.

New York LaGuardia Airport

American Airlines and Frontier flights to LaGuardia Airport arrive into Terminal B, Delta flights arrive into Terminal D.

To travel from LaGuardia Airport to New York City your transport options are limited to taxi, car rental or the NYC Airporter Bus. Although the bus is considered to be the cheapest option many opt for the convenience of a taxi. A single fare will cost $25-40 plus a customary tip and any tolls.
