Founded in 1630, Boston is one of the USA's oldest cities. The town certainly packs a historic punch, with colonial buildings and a walking trail highlighting the city's role in the American Revolution. Culture vultures will love strolling the leafy streets, popping into The Museum of Fine Arts and catching a show with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. World famous events, such as the week-long Independence Day celebrations, can make it trickier to find cheap hotels in Boston. When you search with Skyscanner you'll always find the best prices, whatever type of hotel you're looking for.

Plenty of history, great food market, good bars and lots to do. Very enjoyable. Found the locals to go the extra mile to help.

All the colonial and literary history, open spaces, architecture, art and culture, and higher ed institutions in the greater Boston area make it my favorite place to visit.
