The Gatwick Express is the fastest way to reach central London. It takes half an hour to reach London Victoria and tickets cost £19.90* if you buy them on the day. Discounts are often available if you book online in advance. Non-express trains are run by Southern and Thameslink, which is fine if you're not in a hurry. Buses serving the airport include MetroBus, National Express and easyBus. You should reserve your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment and to get the best prices. Although you don't need a passport, you do need to bring an approved form of photographic ID for security purposes.
