Terminal Information – Departing

This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.

Geneva Airport has one terminal. There are plenty of shops selling everything from designer fashion to Swiss chocolate and fresh flowers. If you're hungry you can choose between restaurants, snack bars, tea rooms and cafes. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport for up to 90 minutes per device.

Terminal Information – Arriving

At Charles de Gaulle: The free CDGVAL shuttle train connects all of the terminals. The fastest way to reach central Paris is with the RER commuter train line B. Stations are located in terminals 2 and 3, and trains leave every eight minutes. The train takes about 35 minutes to reach Gare du Nord in the centre of Paris. If you'd rather travel by bus you can hop on the Roissybus: this service calls at all terminals and goes to Opera Garnier. Another option is the Air France shuttle. If you're planning a self-drive trip remember to compare car hire from Charles de Gaulle Airport with Skyscanner.

At Orly: there's a free shuttle bus between the airport's two terminals. The Orlybus offers the easiest way to reach the city centre, calling at both terminals. Local line 183 stops outside the south (sud) terminal and is the cheapest way to travel into Paris. If you don't mind a bit of fuss you can hop on the Orlyval light rail shuttle to Antony station. From here you can hop onto RER line B into the city centre. Car hire at Orly Airport is available: most providers are located in the west (ouest) terminal.

Practical Information

Geneva and Paris are both within the Schengen Area so you don't technically need your passport to travel between the cities.
