 Getting to & from the Airport

Driving hide 

You can reach Vienna airport from Bratislava via the A6 (Nord-Ostautobahn) and A4 (Ostautobahn). The drive takes around 45 minutes and the distance is 66 km. To reach Bratislava from the airport take the A4 and then the A6. You can leave your car safely and conveniently at the airport before and during your trip at one of the short or long stay car parks.

Trains hide 

The Schnellbahn (S-Bahn) is a low-priced way of getting from Vienna to the airport and back. The S-Bahn runs between Wien Mitte and Vienna Airport every 30 minutes, taking just 25 minutes to get there. Ticket machines are on the platforms at the airport and at Wien Mitte station.

Buses hide 

There are many regional buses offering services into and out of Vienna. The 3 Vienna Airport Lines routes serve all of Vienna's underground railway lines and also "Wien West" and "Wien Meidling" railway stations. Buses to the city centre (Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz) run 24 hours a day with a  journey time of just 20 minutes.
