Terminal Information

Toronto Pearson International

Toronto Pearson International Airport is 14 miles northwest of Downtown Toronto, the airport has 2 terminals; Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Air Canada flights to Vancouver depart from Terminal 1 and Westjet flights depart from Terminal 3. Passengers should plan to arrive at Toronto Pearson Airport at least two hours before their scheduled flight. Check in at the airport is available, though checking in online is the recommended option.

Terminal 1 has a great range of shops from designer brands to convenience stores, these include Burberry, Bvlgaria and a duty free shop. Places to eat in Toronto’s Terminal 1 include Starbucks, Bento Sushi, Booster Juice bar and Bar 120. There’s also a spa offering express beauty treatments.

Terminal 3 offers a similar range of shops and places to eat, these include Macleans, Samonsite, a duty free store, Starbucks, Nobel Burger, Ice Bar and Davids Tea.

Premium lounges are available in both terminals, benefits include complimentary food, hot, cold and alcoholic drinks, televisions, and a quieter environment to relax in before the flight. Prices start at $40 for 2 hours.

Vancouver International Airport

Vancouver International Airport is just 8 miles outside of Vancouver. There are two terminals at the airport; the Main Terminal and the South Terminal. Both Westjet and Air Canada flights from Toronto arrive into the domestic section of the Main Terminal. The Domestic Arrivals Hall is on Level 2 of the terminal building, here you will find information points, free Wi-Fi and then on Level 1 you will find shuttle buses and car rental desks. Car rental companies operating at Vancouver Airport are Avis, Budget, Hertz, Dollar and National.

There is a taxi stand outside of the Arrivals Hall, on Level 2, a typical taxi fare from the airport to Downtown Vancouver will cost at least $35 depending on your destination and time of travel.

The main public transport option from Vancouver International Airport is an express train service on the Canada Line, you will find the station on Level 3. A train to Vancouver will take around 25 minutes and cost $7.75.
