Airlines that fly from Paris to Toulouse

Air France and EasyJet both fly direct to Toulouse from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports.

Terminal Information – Departing

This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.

From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport: Air France depart from terminals 2E and 2F, while EasyJet flights usually leave from terminal 2D. Terminal 2E has a huge range of high-end designer shops including Dior, Fendi, Gucci and Hermes.  Terminal 2F is slightly smaller, but still has a good range of shops including Montblanc, Michael Kors and Longchamp. Terminal 2D has fewer shops, with a duty free store, a Laduree, and a Relay. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport, but you can pay a small fee to upgrade your connection.

From Paris Orly Airport: Air France flights leave from the West (Ouest) terminal and EasyJet flights depart from the South (Sud) terminal. Both terminals have a range of shops selling everything from French confectionary to champagne and cosmetics. Free Wi-Fi is available at the airport, but if it's too slow you can pay for an upgrade.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Toulouse Airport is four miles north of Toulouse. As this is an internal flight you won't need to go through passport control when you land.

· The airport shuttle stops outside arrival gate C2 and the journey into town takes about 20 minutes. A single ticket costs €8* and a return costs 15*.

· Tram line T2 takes 20-30 minutes to reach the city centre. Tickets cost €1.60* and are valid for one hour, ideal if you need to hop on another tram to reach your final destination.

· There's a taxi rank at the airport. Cabs are metered, but expect to pay about €20-25*.

· Hertz, Europcar, Enterprise, Avis, Budget and Sixt all offer car hire at Toulouse Airport. This is a great option if you're planning to head into the countryside, as rural bus services are very minimal.

Practical Information

You don't need a passport to fly on domestic routes within France. You might be asked to show some photographic identification for security purposes before boarding. If you're a Brit travelling in France we recommend bringing your passport. Try to arrive at the airport no later than one hour before departure (earlier if possible).

What to expect in Toulouse

Toulouse is slightly warmer than Paris throughout the year. The average temperature in summer is 2°C warmer at 22°C, although temperatures often soar to 28°C and above during July. Winters in Toulouse are mild, with temperatures of 7-8°C quite common from December to February. Prices in Toulouse are, in general, lower than prices in Paris.
