The airport is just off the AP-7 (Autopista del Mediterráneo) motorway, which runs along Spain’s Mediterranean coast. You have to pay tolls to use it. Don’t worry if you haven’t got any Euro coins on you: the automatic toll booths all accept British credit and debit cards. On the AP-7 you will be given a ticket when you get onto the motorway. You put it in the machine and pay when you leave, so keep it somewhere safe during the journey.
