Lyon Airport has one building, and all terminals are within walking distance of each other. Most public transport leaves from Terminal 1. The Rhônexpress tram train is the quickest way to reach the city centre, with a journey time of half an hour. One-way tickets cost €15.80* (just over £12), and returns cost €27.40* (just under £21.50). A cheaper but slower option is the bus. Routes 29 and 30 both stop at Terminal 1, and tickets cost €2* (just over £1.50). There's also a taxi rank, and you can expect to pay about €40-50* (roughly £31-39) for a taxi into the city centre. Ski shuttles serve the airport during the winter. There's a car rental centre just past the TGV station. If you're planning to hire a car at Lyon Airport you can compare prices with Skyscanner.
You don't need a passport to fly between Paris and Lyon. You might be asked to show some ID at the departure gate, so bring your passport anyway. We recommend arriving at the airport about 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart.
