Amsterdam Schiphol is a sprawling airport. The numerous arrival terminals spill out into the central arrivals area, Schiphol Plaza. From here you can just follow the signs to the taxi rank, train station or bus stop and make your way into Amsterdam. The train is the quickest way into the city, and you can purchase tickets online before you arrive . If you would prefer to take a taxi you can expect a longer and more expensive journey.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to travel from the UK to Amsterdam. Make sure your passport won’t expire during your trip: if this is the case you might not be allowed to board the aeroplane.
