London Heathrow Airport
London Heathrow Airport has 4 terminals, Finnair and British Airways flights to Helsinki depart from Terminal 3. Passengers are advised to arrive at the terminal at least two hours before their flight departure time, check-in halls can be found on the ground floor of the terminal. Finnair and British Airways offer both staffed check in desks and online check in, which is recommended to save time when you arrive at the airport.
Terminal 3 has a great selection of shops; Boots, Burberry, Chanel, Paul Smith, World Duty Free, Zara and Harrods are all located here among many others. When it comes to places to eat you will have Caffe Nero, Bridge Bar and Eating House, Strada, Rhubarb and Yo! Sushi to choose from.
There is free Wi-Fi available throughout the terminal at Heathrow Airport.
London Gatwick Airport
Gatwick Airport has two terminals, the North and the South, Norwegian flights to Helsinki depart from the South terminal. It is recommended that passengers flying from Gatwick arrive at the airport at least three hours before the scheduled departure time of their flight.
In the South terminal you will find a wide choose of shops and places to eat. These include Apostrophe, Wetherspoon, Wonderstreet, World Duty Free, Harrods, Accessorize, Boots and Mango.

Helsinki Vantaa Airport
Helsinki Airport is located 20km to the north of Helsinki, Finland. There are two terminals at the airport, Finnair, British Airways and Norwegian flights all arrive into Terminal 2. Here you will find a small selection of shops, currency exchange points and onward travel options.
Getting from Helsinki Airport to Helsinki is straightforward with a number of options available. Car hire desks for Hertz, Avis, Budget, Sixt and Europcar are located in the walkway between the two terminals.
Outside terminal 2 you will find bus stops for services into the city, two main routes are available Line 615 which runs to Helsinki Railway Stations and Line 617 which runs to Hakaniemi market square. It takes between 35 and 45 minutes to reach the city centre.
The Helsinki Airport train station is located a short walk from Terminal 2. There are regular services departing every 10 minutes, with journeys into Helsinki costing €5 and taking around 30 minutes.
