Terminal Information – Departing
Jersey Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has a small but good range of shops and eateries. You can pick up a luxury bargain in World Duty Free, a nice magazine to read in the air at WH Smith, or pick up some Jersey souvenirs from Jersey Pearl, Hersey Pottery and La Mare Wine Estate. Grab a bite to eat at Island Market, or settle pre-flight nerves with a small tipple at The Bar. The airport has complimentary Wi-Fi throughout so while you're waiting for your gate you can keep up with emails, chat to your friends, and scan the web for the best things to do in Guernsey.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Guernsey Airport is small and only has one terminal. Options for getting to your hotel are the local bus, a private hire taxi, or a rental car. The bus charges a flat rate of £1* no matter where on the island you want to go. If you want to take a taxi it's best to book this in advance, as Guernsey Airport doesn't have a taxi rank. You can call a cab on arrival, but you might have to wait a bit for it to arrive. Avis and Europcar have desks in the arrivals area. Note that car hire prices can vary based on the time of year, the type of vehicle you want and which company you book through. You can check and compare car hire at Guernsey Airport with Skyscanner.
Practical Information
Jersey and Guernsey are both within the Common Travel Area so you don't need your passport to travel between the two islands. You will need to show some ID, either when you check in or when you reach the departure gate. Your airline will have a full list of acceptable identification on their website. Driving licences and recently expired passports are usually fine. We recommend arriving at the airport at least one hour before your flight is set to depart.
