Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly from Australia to Canada. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart if the first leg is domestic, and at least two and a half hours in advance if it's international. Australian and British citizens don't need a visa for short stays in Canada, but will need to apply for an electronic travel authorisation (eTA) before flying. Visitors need to prove that they have enough funds to sustain themselves during their trip. We recommend bringing a copy of your latest bank statement to show at immigration.
