Terminal Information – Departing

This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.

Brussels Airport has one terminal with two piers. Pier A is for Schengen flights and Pier B is for non-Schengen. As London is outwith Schengen, all of the flights from Brussels to London depart from Pier B. This area of the airport offers a range of luxury shops selling high-end products like diamonds, leather goods and Belgian chocolates. There's a good selection of places to grab a bite to eat or a quick drink too, including the Seafood & Wine Bar, Starbucks and Kimbo Pop-up Bar. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal for up to 60 minutes.

Terminal Information – Arriving

At Gatwick: easyJet flights from Brussels usually land at the North terminal. If you want to take the train into central London you will need to hop on the free inter-terminal shuttle to the South terminal first. The Express train doesn't stop until it reaches Victoria, but is the most expensive option with single tickets costing around £30*. If you're on a budget you can take one of the slightly slower Thameslink (about £13) or Southern (about £15) trains. National Express (from £7*) and easyBus (from £2*) coaches pick up passengers from the South Terminal too. We recommend booking your tickets in advance to get the best prices. Another option is to take a cab: expect to pay about £70*.

At Heathrow: Brussels Airlines usually land at Terminal 2, while British Airways land at Terminal 5. The Piccadilly Line (underground) and overground trains stop at both terminals. Heathrow Airport is in Zone 6. Single underground tickets cost £6* if you pay in cash, £5.10* with an Oyster or contactless card between 6:30am and 9:30am, and £3.10* with an Oyster or contactless card at any other time. Underground trains can take up to an hour to reach the city centre. The Heathrow Express is faster, reaching Paddington Station in 20 minutes, but is more expensive at £21.50*. Heathrow is also served by National Express and easyBus coach services.
