Airlines that fly from Singapore to Perth

Jetstar Airways, Jetstar Asia Airways, Qantas, Scoot and Singapore Airlines all fly direct from Singapore Changi Airport to Perth.

Terminal Information – Departing

Jetstar and Qantas flights usually depart from terminal 1, Scoot fly from terminal 2 and Singapore Airlines leave from terminal 3. Singapore Changi Airport is one of the most interesting airports in the world. It boasts a massive selection of places to shop and eat, but has a few other remarkable features: notably its gardens. In terminal 1 you'll find a swimming pool, a cactus garden and a water lily garden. In terminal 2 there's a sunflower garden, an enchanted garden and an orchid garden. There's also an entertainment deck where you can blow-off a bit of steam with some video games. As well as its koi pond and butterfly garden, terminal 3 also has a cinema and a 12m high slide. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport, but you need to scan your passport at a booth in order to get a password.

Terminal Information – Arriving

International flights generally land at terminal 1. Taxis and shuttle buses are available from every terminal at Perth Airport and are the most convenient way to reach the city. If you're in a group it's often cheaper to take a taxi into town rather than all paying for shuttle tickets. One public bus serves terminal 1, Transperth service 380. It's not very frequent: it tends to call at the airport once every 30-60 minutes. Tickets are fairly cheap. Practical Information

You need a valid passport to fly to Perth from Singapore. Depending on your nationality and purpose of visit you may also need to apply for a visa. We recommend checking with the Australian embassy for further information.

As this is a long-haul international flight, it's best to arrive at the airport at least three hours before scheduled departure.

What to expect in Perth

There's no time difference between Perth and Singapore. The local currency is the Australian dollar ($). Perth has a cooler climate than Singapore, especially during winter (June to August). The average temperature in July is 13°C compared to a fairly standard year-round temperature of 26°C in Singapore. Summer temperatures in Perth tend to sit around 25°C and January is the hottest month. Perth is quite an expensive city, even by Singapore standards. Dinner for two in Perth will cost about SGD $40* more than a meal in Singapore, although a beer is about SGD $1* cheaper.
