Airlines that fly from Newcastle to Stockholm
There are no airlines currently offering direct flights from Newcastle to Stockholm. Airlines offering indirect flights include Air France via Paris, KLM via Amsterdam and British Airways via London. These flights all go to Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Newcastle International Airport has one terminal. The departure hall has a good range of shops including Boots, Dixons Travel, World Duty Free and Traveller where you can pick up last minute essentials. If you don't feel like shopping you can have a bit of fun at the Namco Games Arcade or enjoy a pre-flight treat at Aerospa. If you're hungry you can grab a bite at Cabin, Flying Hippo or M&S Simply Food. There's a Caffe Ritazza for coffees and two bars, The Beer House and Beer 11, for stronger drinks. The airport has a business lounge operated by Aspire. You can pay for entry on the day or book in advance on Newcastle Airport's website.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is 25 miles from the city.
· The Arlanda Express Train leaves from the platform under the arrivals hall. It leaves every 15 minutes and takes 20 minutes to reach the city centre.
· Commuter trains to Stockholm are also available, although the journey is slightly longer at 45 minutes.
· Flygbussarna coaches leave the airport every 10-15 minutes and the journey takes 35-45 minutes.
· It takes about 40 minutes to reach central Stockholm by taxi. Taxis in Stockholm aren't regulated so prices vary.
· Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt all offer car hire from Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly to Stockholm from Newcastle. Try to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before departure.
What to expect in Stockholm
Stockholm is one hour ahead of Newcastle and the local currency is the Swedish krona. Stockholm has slightly warmer summers than Newcastle and much colder winters.
