Terminal Information

Newcastle Airport

There’s just one terminal at Newcastle Airport. Passengers are advised to arrive at least two hours before scheduled flight departure times. Easyjet offers online check in in advance with printable boarding passes or check in via an app which will store your boarding pass on your phone.

Food and drink options at Newcastle Airport include Starbucks, Burger King, Greggs, gastro-pub food at Bar 11 and real ale at The Beer House. Passengers will also find a variety of shops in the departures hall. There’s an Accessorize, Boots, JD Sports, WHSmith and Dixons. A Travelex currency exchange, a duty free store, express beauty treatments available at the Aerospa and a games arcade with slot machines, air hockey and crane games are also available to keep passengers entertained before their flight. .

Business travellers have access to a range of facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport for up to 45 minutes. A Fast Track car park pass is also available for a fee of £23 a day. The pass allows passengers to park in a designated car park immediately adjacent to the terminal building and to use the fast track lanes at security. Passengers can purchase just the Fast Track Security Pass for £3. They’re available online in advance or from kiosks outside the security area.

The Aspire Lounge is a premium lounge open to all passengers for a fee. It provides complimentary food and drink throughout the day. There are also charging facilities for electronics, a quiet zone and the Airside Andy Play Pod with tablets and games for children.

Belfast International Airport

Belfast International Airport is located 18 miles north-west of Belfast city centre. The arrivals hall is situated on the ground floor of Belfast International Airport. Passengers will find a visitor information desk for information on transport from the airport and local attractions. Car hire desks can also be found in the domestic arrivals area.

Public transport options include regular bus and coach services to Belfast, Lisburn and Londonderry. They leave from outside the terminal building with the Airport Express 300 running to Belfast city centre 24 hours a day.

Taxis and a taxi share scheme for passengers travelling to Belfast city are also available.
