British Airways, Lot Airlines, Ryanair and Wizz Air operate direct flights from London to Warsaw, Poland.

British Airways and Lot Airlines fly from London Heathrow to Warsaw Chopin Airport, Wizz Air fly from Luton Airport to Warsaw Chopin Airport and Ryanair fly from Stansted to Warsaw Modlin Mazovia Airport.

Terminal Information

British Airways and Lot Airlines both offer online and airport check in, Wizz Air offer online check in, or airport check in however if you choose to check in at the airport you will be required to pay an additional fee per person. Ryanair no longer have check-in desks available at the airport and you must use the online or mobile check-in facilities which are available up to two hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. You should aim to arrive at the airport at least two hours before your departure time to ensure you have enough time to pass through security and find your departure gate in the terminal.

London Heathrow Airport

There are four terminals at Heathrow Airport, Lot flights depart from Terminal 2 and British Airways flights to Warsaw depart from Terminal 3. Both terminals have a great choice available when it comes to shopping and dining. Terminal 2 shops and places to eat include Harrods, Hamleys, John Lewis, World Duty Free, Caffe Nero, The Gorgeous Kitchen and Yo! Sushi. In Terminal 3 you will find Boots, MAC, Zara, Strada, Bridge, Rhubarb and Pret a Manger.

Both terminals have free Wi-Fi and premium lounges if you wish to upgrade.

London Luton Airport

London Luton Airport, in Luton, Bedfordshire has one terminal. Once in the departure lounge you will find Dixons, Accessorize, JD Sports, Kurt Geiger, WHSmith, Mac, Krispy Kreme, Wasabi and Starbucks. When you arrive in the lounge check your gate, some gates are a 15-minute walk from the lounge.

London Stansted Airport

London Stansted Airport is a single terminal airport in Essex, 38 miles northeast of London. The departures lounge is home to a variety of shops and places to eat. These include Boots, The Body Shop, Dune, Next, Costa Coffee, James Martin’s Kitchen, itsu, Leon and Harris+Hoole.

Stansted Airport offers an hour of free Wi-Fi.

Warsaw Chopin Airport

Warsaw Chopin Airport is just 10km south of Warsaw city centre, with plenty of public transport options, car hire and taxis to take you into the city with ease. There is just one terminal at the airport and in the arrivals hall you will find information points and car hire desks for Avis, Hertz and others.

The train and bus stations are located at the south pier of the arrivals terminal. 5 bus routes depart from the airport at regular points throughout the day travelling to the city centre, central railway station, taking around 40 minutes and costing 4.40PLN. Trains are a quicker way to reach the city centre, a journey will take around 25 minutes and cost 6.60PLN.

Taxis depart from outside the airport, it will cost around 30-50PLN depending on your destination and time of travel, a journey will take 15-30 minutes.

Warsaw-Modlin Mazovia Airport

Warsaw-Modlin Mazovia Airport has one terminal and is located in the town of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, 40km north of Warsaw. Onward travel from Warsaw Modlin Airport to Warsaw include shuttle bus, car hire and taxi.

The ModlinBus is an express airport shuttle bus service which runs from the airport to Warsaw city centre in line with the Ryanair flight schedules. A single ticket is 9PLN and a journey will take around 40 minutes.

Taxis from Warsaw Modlin Airport run to Warsaw and operate with fixed fares which you can confirm before departure. These range from 119 PLN to 250 PLN depending on your destination and time of travel.
