About Scandinavian Airlines
SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) is the largest airline in Scandinavia, and the flag carrying airline of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. They're one of the founding Star Alliance members, and are the eighth largest airline in Europe. They have over 160 aircraft in their fleet, and fly to 119 destinations. Their frequent-flyer programme is EuroBonus. As well as flying to a range of Scandinavian and European cities, SAS also offers flights to the USA and Asia.
SAS offer flights from four British airports: London-Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle. Connecting flights from other UK airports are available through their Star Alliance codeshare partners. From the UK, SAS fly to more Scandinavian destinations than any other airline. Popular destinations include Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Stavanger.
