Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, which is more commonly known by its former name Bucharest Otopeni Airport is located in the town of Otenopi, 20km north of Bucharest.

The Arrivals terminal is over two floors and is connected to the departures terminal via a walkway, here there are shops, places to eat and a number of facilities which include currency exchange, a pharmacy, post office and car rental desks. Car rental companies operating from Bucharest Otenopi Airport are Avis, Autonom, Boca Autotrade, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and Touring rent a car.

The onward travel options from Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport to Bucharest are bus and taxi. There are two main bus services which depart from the airport. The 780 Express goes direct to Gara de Nord (Bucharest North railway station) and the 783 Express travels into the city centre every 40 minutes. A single trip is 3,5 lei.
