You buy your ticket from a parking attendant: usually they’ll wander over when they see you leave your car. Private car parks charge more, about 3 RON (50p) per hour.

Brasov

Beautiful mountain scenery makes this Transylvanian city a favourite destination with tourists from all over the world.

It takes about two hours and 15 minutes to drive to Brasov from Bucharest Otopeni Airport. Car parking in the town centre can be tricky, although there are some parking spaces and car parks. Always leave a ticket on your dashboard, or you could end up with a fine.

Snagov
