Southampton Airport is small, with just one terminal open for check-in from 5am. The airport’s small size and some self-service check-in stations mean getting to the departures lounge is usually a quick and easy process. Passengers travelling on flights within the UK are advised to arrive an hour before their flight to Glasgow is scheduled to depart.
In the departures area, passengers will find a range of eating and shopping venues. The Glove Bar & Kitchen is a pub serving food throughout the day, The Olive Tree is a café bar for a quick bite to eat and there is also a Costa Coffee. There is a WHSmith and Moneycorp currency exchange as well as a duty free shop.
Passengers who would rather travel without their heavy shopping can make use of the Shop and Collect service offered at the airport. Great for fragile and heavy items or when a great deal is about to expire, Shop and Collect allows passengers to leave their purchases at the airport and collect them from a designated pick-up point upon return.
The quiet and relaxing Priority Lounge can be found upstairs in the departure lounge. For a charge, passengers can enjoy unlimited Wi-Fi, hot and cold drinks, snacks, and laptop charge points. You can either book online or purchase your Priority Lounge pass on the day.
