Terminal Information – Departing

Flights to London leave from the international terminal. This terminal has a wide range of shops where you can splash the last of your dollars. Enjoy duty free shopping in designer stores like Coach, Burberry, Gucci and Hermes or browse art as SFMOMA Museum Store. Dining options include international favourites like Mexican and Italian food as well as American style burgers and salads. The international terminal also has a couple of museums, a spa, and #converge@flySFO: a meeting space for discussing business ideas.

 

Terminal Information – Arriving

British Airways flights arrive at terminal 5, Virgin Atlantic land at terminal 3, and United land at terminal 2. All three terminals are well connected to the city by public transport. The fastest way to get to London is the Heathrow Express train, which calls at terminal 5 and the station for terminals 2 & 3. The journey takes 15 minutes to reach Paddington station. Terminal 5 and terminals 2&3 also have an underground station where you can hop onto the Piccadilly Line: the cheapest way to reach the city. Road transportation is offered by black cabs and private hire cars as well as coaches and buses. Car hire from Heathrow Airport is a good option if you're not daunted by urban traffic or high parking tariffs.

 

Practical Information
