Terminal Information – Departing

This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.

From Beauvais: Ryanair fly to Barcelona from Terminal 2.  The airport is closed between 11:30pm and 6am, so don't turn up too early. There are a few shops and restaurants inside the terminal.

From Charles de Gaulle: Air France depart from Terminal 2F, easyJet fly from 2D and Vueling fly from Terminal 3. It's possible to walk between all of the departure halls in Terminal 2 (apart from Terminal 2G) and each one has a great selection of coffee shops, brasseries and designer stores. Terminal 3 has a more limited selection, although there are still a couple of places to grab a bite to eat and splash a bit of cash.

From Orly: Transavia France fly from the South Terminal and Vueling fly from the West Terminal. Both terminals have a good number of French cafes and duty free stores.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Arrival terminals are subject to change. This information is intended as a guideline.

Air France and Vueling land at Terminal 1. Ryanair, Transavia France and easyJet land at Terminal 2. Express buses serve both terminals. Aerobus A1 leaves from Terminal 1 while Aerobus A2 leaves from Terminal 2. Both services offer a speedy way to reach Plaça de Catalunya in central Barcelona. You can buy your tickets on board or at the machines in the arrival hall. One-way costs €5.90* (about £4.60) and a 15 day return costs €10.20* (about £7.95). A cheaper option is the local bus, route 46, which stops at both terminals and takes just under an hour to reach the city centre. One-way tickets are just €2* (about £1.55). There's a train station at Terminal 2: if your flight lands at Terminal 1 you can take a free shuttle to reach it. The local train is quite cheap, with single tickets costing just €4.10* (about £3.20). Note that the train doesn't terminate in the city centre, so you need to pay attention to make sure you get out at the right stop. Both terminals have a taxi rank. Cabs are metered and usually cost €30-40* (£23-31) if you're going into the city centre. Private transfers are also available, some through the major hotels in Barcelona. Most of the major car hire companies have reception desks in the arrivals hall. With Skyscanner you can compare car hire at Barcelona Airport to make sure you're getting the best price.
