Knock Airport is just 20 minutes by car from the famous pilgrimage of the Knick Shrine in County Mayo. It is 126 miles from Dublin city centre, which can be reached by car in 2.5hrs. Knock Airport has just one terminal. Due to its size it has just the essential facilities and services. There is free wi-fi internet, and a handful of shops including a newsagent, duty free and places to buy travel essentials and gifts. It has a selection of restaurants and places to purchase a meal or snack, baby changing facilities, cash machines, currency exchange point, a lounge area and car hire available on site.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Malaga Airport is just 5 miles from Malaga and 3 miles from Torremolinos. Local train services connect Malaga Airport with the city in just 12 minutes, costing €1.70* for a single fare. Trains run from 7am to 8pm. The Airport Express bus route A connects the airport with central Málaga in just 15 minutes and costs €3* for a single ticket. Taxis and car hire are also available.

Inside Malaga Airport there is free Wi-Fi internet, cash machines, currency exchange desks, a choice of cafes, bars and restaurants, duty free shopping and places to buy books, newspapers, magazines, gifts, essentials and fashions. Practical Information

There are fashionable shopping streets to tempt every shopper while Soho is where you can find micro-breweries and bohemian shops and bars. The food is heavenly and when the sun is shining, Malaga comes up trumps with everything you could want from a holiday.

And the sun does shine; a lot! Mild winters make Málaga a great all year round destination. Summers are hot but pleasant but busier with tourists while spring and autumn are quieter by still warm. There are plenty of fiestas taking place during August making it one of the busiest times of year. Malaga prices are fairly low and there is a choice of accommodation that appeals to most budgets. Entry tickets to the main sights are cheap whilst budget breakfasts can cost as little as €2* and dinner for one less than €6*. A bottle of cheap local beer costs from €1.20*.
