Airlines that fly from Newcastle to Palma

Newcastle Airport only has one terminal. It has lots of shops, including two duty free stores (World Duty Free and Cuba Lily). There's also a JD Sports, WH Smith, Boots and Accessorize for last minute bits and bobs. Other distractions include a Namco Games arcade and an Aerospa. There are plenty of dining options for peckish travellers, ranging from snack bars like Greggs and Upper Crust as well as proper restaurants like Cabin and Flying Hippo. There's also an M&S Food to Go, if you fancy taking a picnic on the 'plane. Newcastle Airport has two lounges, both run by Aspire. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic islands and Palma Airport is the gateway most holidaymakers arrive through. The airport is served by two public buses. Line 1 runs from the airport to Palma city centre and port, while line 21 runs from the airport to the most popular hotels along Palma beach. Private transfers can be booked online or arranged through your hotel. There's also a taxi rank outside the terminal: make sure you take an official taxi. Car hire from Palma Airport is a popular option and gives you the opportunity to see more of the island. Remember traffic in Mallorca drives on the right-hand side of the road.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly to Palma from Newcastle. Airports get very busy during summer and it can take longer to get through security. Try to arrive at the airport two hours before your flight is due to depart.
What to expect in Palma
Palma de Mallorca is one hour ahead of Newcastle and the currency is the Euro (€).
