Terminal Information – Departing

Jet2.com fly from terminal 1. The departure lounge has a great range of shops and restaurants, with plenty to keep you occupied before your flight. Fashion shops include Fat Face, Monsoon and Boux Avenue. Airport favourites World Duty Free and WH Smith also have branches in terminal 1. If you're hungry you can relax in popular chains like Giraffe and Starbucks, enjoy a quick sandwich at Upper Crust, or pop into Cafe Balzar for some Mediterranean cuisine. Bar MCR and The Grain Loft are ideal if you're just in the mood for a quick pre-flight drink.

Tui fly from terminal 2. Shops in the departure lounge include airport favourites Boots, Dixons Travel, Biza Duty Free, WH Smith and Travelex. If you're peckish you can enjoy American cuisine at Burger King and Frankie & Benny's. Caffe Nero and Broderick's are great for a caffeine fix, while the Observatory Bar is the perfect spot for a pre-flight drink.

Both terminals have an Escape Lounge. We recommend booking your place in the lounge early, as it can book up quickly: especially during the summer rush.

Terminal Information – Arriving

It's easy to reach Toulouse from the airport. There are two buses: one express and one local route with a number of stop. The express bus is the Navette Aeroport, and charges €5.50* (about £4.25) per ticket. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively you can take local bus line 88 for €2* (just over £1.50). There's also a taxi rank at the airport. Cabs are metered but you can expect to pay €20-25* (about £15.50-19.50) for the journey. Some hotels in Toulouse offer airport transfers for an extra fee, or sometimes for free. If this isn't specified on your reservation it's worth getting in touch to find out if the service is available. There are also some private transfer companies focussing on nearby beach and ski resorts. You can hire a car at Toulouse Airport too, and it's a great way to discover the region.

You need a valid passport to fly from Manchester to Toulouse. Aim to arrive at the airport around an hour and a half before your flight is scheduled to depart.

Toulouse is one hour ahead of Manchester and the currency is the Euro (€). Prices in Toulouse are slightly lower.
