Terminal Information – Departing
Leeds-Bradford International Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has a small but varied range of places to relax, eat and shop. Pick up a bargain at World Duty Free, some last minute toiletries at Superdrug, or some reading for your flight at WH Smith. If you're hungry you can enjoy some pub-grub at the Saltaire Bar, a burger from Burger King, a sandwich from Camden Food Company, or a coffee and cake from Caffe Ritazza. The Sports Bar is a relaxing destination for a pre-flight drink. If you want to add a bit of luxury to your trip you can check into the Yorkshire Lounge for £20*. This buys you access for two hours. Terminal Information – Arriving
Birmingham Airport has a well-equipped arrivals area with a Costa and an M&S Simply Food: perfect if you need to refuel before heading into town. There are five local buses running between the airport and the city centre, as well as coach services by National Express and Megabus. If you book your tickets in advance you can save lots of money. The airport runs a free shuttle to Birmingham International Train Station. From there you can hop on a train to Birmingham New Street Station for about £3.* If you're in a hurry you can take a cab from the taxi rank. The cars are metered, but you should expect to pay around £25* for the journey into central Birmingham. If you prefer to drive yourself you'll find the car rental desks in the arrivals hall. Practical Information
If you're flying to Birmingham via Belfast or Dublin you won't need your passport, as both cities are within the Common Travel Area.
