Terminal Information – Departing

Glasgow-International Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge is quite small, but has a good selection of shops. Browse premium alcohol, perfume and other goodies in World Duty Free or pick up some last minute holiday essentials in Boots and WH Smith. There's a Maplin in case you need to pick up a travel adapter, too. Dining options range from quick and easy (Starbucks, Upper Crust) to relaxed (Frankie & Benny's, the Sandpiper). There's a soft play area for children, and half an hour of free Wi-Fi for everyone. Glasgow Airport has its own executive lounge, UpperDeck, which is available to all classes of passengers on all airlines. There's a fee to use the lounge, and you can pay on the door. Inside you can relax with unlimited Wi-Fi and a range of complimentary food and drink.

Terminal Information – Arriving

International flights from non-Schengen countries, like the UK, land at terminal 3. From here you can reach downtown Copenhagen by train, underground, bus, taxi or hire car. The train station is downstairs and the metro station is at the northern end of the terminal. You can buy your ticket from the booth in the arrivals hall. You need a three-zone ticket for both the metro and the overground, and these cost 75* DKK (just over £7.80). The metro goes to Norreport station in the city centre (journey time of 15 minutes), while the train goes to Central station (around ten minutes). Car hire at Copenhagen Airport is available from Avis, Budget, Sixt, Hertz, Enterprise and Europcar. There's a taxi rank outside the arrivals hall. If you don't have any Danish currency yet, don't worry: it's possible to pay by credit card, and the tip is included in the fare.
