Airlines that fly from Frankfurt to London
British Airways and Lufthansa fly direct from Frankfurt to London-Heathrow, while BA CityFlyer and Lufthansa CityLine fly to London-City. London-Heathrow is the fourth busiest flight route from the airport so we recommend booking your tickets as early as possible.
Terminal Information – Departing
This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.
Lufthansa fly from Terminal 1, while British Airways fly from Terminal 2. There are Be Relax spas in both terminals, while Terminal 1 also has a hairdressers and a nail studio. Both terminals have a good selection of places to grab a quick coffee or a bite to eat including Starbucks, Scoom and the Goethe Bar. There are plenty of designer shops to browse at the airport, and you can buy online with the airport's Click and Collect service.
Terminal Information – Arriving
At London-City: There's only one terminal at London-City Airport. The airport is well connected by public transport. You can take the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) trains and transfer onto the underground system. These trains serve the airport every 8-15 minutes. It's also possible to take the bus, with lines 473 and 474 serving the city centre. Taxis to town are only slightly more expensive.
At London-Heathrow: Lufthansa flights usually land at Terminal 2 (The Queen's Terminal) while British Airways flights land at Terminal 5. You can take the Heathrow Express or the Piccadilly Line from both terminals. The Heathrow Express is the fastest way to reach the city, with a 15 minute journey time to Paddington Station. The Heathrow Connect train is slightly slower, with a half hour journey time, but is much cheaper. The tube is the cheapest way to reach the city however expect it to be busy. National Express coaches are available but you should book your ticket in advance. Taxis into the city are also available however will be much more expensive.

You need a valid passport to fly from Frankfurt to London. We recommend arriving around two hours before departure to ensure you have time to get through security and navigate the airport.
