Terminal Information – Departing
This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.
Exeter Airport only has one terminal. There are two shops, World Duty Free and WH Smith, located after security. The airport has a 'shop and collect' service for passengers travelling within the EU. You can buy your goodies and, instead of carrying them around Tenerife, pick them up on your way home. There's an airside restaurant, bar and cafe so there are plenty of options for peckish travellers. The airport also has a pay-in executive lounge. Note that you don't pay on the door, but you reserve your place at a kiosk before security.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Tenerife Sur Airport serves the south of the island and popular resorts like Costa Adeje and Playa de las Americas. Three buses call at the airport. Route 343 runs between Tenerife Sur and Tenerife Norte airports via Los Cristianos. Route 111 goes to the island's capital, Santa Cruz, via the island's beach resorts. Finally route 450 goes from the airport to the town of Granadilla. Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall.
If you want to explore the island properly you should definitely consider hiring a car. Read more about car hire from Tenerife South Airport.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly to Tenerife from Exeter. We recommend arriving at Exeter Airport no later than 90 minutes before scheduled departure. Give yourself extra time if you're travelling during the school holidays as there's likely to be queues at security.
