Brussels Airlines fly direct to Manchester from Brussels Airport (BRU). Ryanair have direct flights from Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL).
Terminal Information – Departing

From Brussels Airport: flights to Manchester depart from Pier B, the Schengen area of the airport. Shops include souvenir stores (including Antwerp Diamonds & Jewels and The Belgian Chocolate House), fashion stores and a Relay newsagents. Food and drink options include Grabandfly, Starbucks, Seafood & Wine Bar, and a Helixir Smoothie Bar. Pier B has one public access business lounge, Diamond Lounge, which is free for business class passengers to use. Economy passengers need to pay for access.
From Brussels South Charleroi Airport: this airport only has one terminal. Places to eat airside include Meli-Melo, Le Chariot Paul, Le Bar Leffe and Guapa. There aren't many shops but there are a few essentials such as duty free and a newsagents. There's also a Leonidas chocolate shop before you head through security. Wi-Fi is available inside the terminal. It's free to use if you want to check tourist information but you need to pay to access the wider web.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Manchester Airport is the UK's largest airport outside of London. The three terminals are all within walking distance of each other. There's a direct train service between the airport's own train station and Manchester Piccadilly. There's a walkway to the station from terminals 1 and 2 (passengers landing at terminal 3 need to walk through terminal 1 first to reach it). Metrolink trams are also available and are better if you're heading into the suburbs. Tram tickets cost the same as train tickets. National Express coaches are available to Chorlton Street station while Stagecoach buses go to Piccadilly Gardens. Metered taxis are available immediately outside the airport: expect to take about 30-45 minutes to reach the city centre. Car hire from Manchester Airport is available from a number of major car rental firms: we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
