Bristol Airport

You should arrive at Bristol Airport at least 2 hours before your flight to Bordeaux is scheduled to depart. Easyjet do not have check-in desks at the airport and you are required to check-in in advance either online where you will need to print your boarding pass, or via the mobile app.

Bristol Airport has one terminal and a departure lounge with a selection of pre-flight facilities. There’s World Duty Free, Claire’s Accessories, JD Sports, Superdrug and Dixons throughout the departure lounge and places to eat in the Food Village, on the upper floor. Brunel Bar and Kitchen, Burger King, Starbucks and Cabin are available here.

There are two premium lounges at Bristol Airport, these are both on the upper level next to the Food Village. Prices start at £19.99 per person which comes with unlimited Wi-Fi access, complimentary snack foods, and hot, cold and alcoholic drinks.

An initial 60 minutes of free Wi-Fi access is available for visitors to Bristol Airport.

Bordeaux Airport

Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport serves the city of Bordeaux, France, 12km away. There are three passenger terminals at Bordeaux Airport, with low cost airlines including EasyJet arriving into the Billi Terminal. The Billi Terminal is a short walk from the main airport terminal building where you will find car hire desks for Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar and others as well as other facilities and onward travel options. There is two hours of free Wi-Fi available at the airport.

The quickest way to reach the centre of Bordeaux is taking the Bordeaux Airport Shuttle service from the airport to the train station in Bordeaux. Services depart from outside of the airport (exit 11 of the main terminal building) and run to Bordeaux Saint Jean Train Station between 8am and 11pm, on an hourly basis (on the hour) with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes. A single ticket is €7.20 and can be purchased in advance online. Buses come with guaranteed seats and free Wi-Fi.

If you don’t want to travel as far into Bordeaux, there are local bus services (the Lianes 1) which run between the airport and the city with a number of stops on the way, including Merignac.
