Amsterdam's Airport has a huge range of shops, cafes and restaurants to while away your time in. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the airport. For an extra treat, book yourself into Lounge 26 (operated by Aspire). It's a pay-in executive lounge available to passengers flying to Schengen destinations.

Public transport is available and is easy to use: take bus 200E from the airport to the nearest Metro station (Kobanya-Kispest) or train station (Ferihegy). Car hire at Budapest Airport is available from Avis, Buchbinder, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. Remember to compare prices early to get the best deal.
Practical Information
Amsterdam and Budapest are both inside the Schengen area, so you don't need a passport to travel between them. Nevertheless, we recommend British travellers keep their passports on them at all times. Try to arrive at the airport no later than 90 minutes before your flight departure time.
