Inverness Airport
Inverness Airport which serves the Highlands of Scotland is located 7 miles east of Inverness. You should aim to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight to Amsterdam is due to depart.
Flybe’s check in options at Inverness Airport are the staffed and self-service desks at the airport, online in advance, which is recommended and automatic email check in. The airport check in desks open 2 hours before your flight and close 60 minutes before for those with hold luggage and 45 minutes before for those travelling with hand luggage only.
Inverness Airport departures lounge has a small selection of shops and a café. These are WH Smith, Fly Nip, a Scottish drinks and gifts shop, Jail which sells Scottish crafts and country clothing and the Airside Café and Bar.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the main airport serving The Netherlands, just 9km south of the city of Amsterdam. The arrivals hall at Amsterdam Airport is divided into 4 main areas which surround the Schiphol Plaza. The Schiphol Plaza is a large retail area with a number of shops and places to eat as well as information points, ATM machines and ticket desks.
Onward travel options from Amsterdam Airport include car hire with desks in Arrivals Area 3, buses, and trains. The train station is located under the Schiphol Plaza and trains to Amsterdam and nearby cities such as Rotterdam and Utrecht are available. Amsterdam Airport to Amsterdam will take approximately 15 minutes on the train and tickets can be purchased from the platforms and ticket desks in the Plaza.
A large number of bus services depart from outside of the terminal building, you can reach Amsterdam city centre on Route 197 with departures every 15 minutes. A single ticket costs €5.
