Terminal Information – Departing

This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.

Exeter Airport is a relatively small airport with only one terminal. It has all of the airport essentials including ATMs, a bureau de change, airport shopping (including duty-free), and plenty of places to eat and drink. For those that need to catch up on work or just escape from the hustle and bustle, the Executive Lounge offers comfortable seating, internet access, and refreshments. If you're peckish, WH Smith offers sandwiches and other snacks while the air-side restaurant offers hot breakfasts and meals throughout the day. If you fancy a drink before take-off, the Airview Bar offers views over the airfield. For shopping, the WH Smith sells magazines and paperbacks while Exeter's World Duty Free sells fragrances, cosmetics, jewellery, confectionary, and alcohol. Free Wi-fi is available throughout the departure lounge.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Faro Airport is located around 2.5 miles outside of Faro city centre. Taxis are available from the arrivals hall: look out for their green and black design. Buses go to and from Faro city centre but it’s not possible to get a bus directly from Faro Airport to other towns and resorts on the Algarve. To travel by public transport you will need to take a bus into Faro city centre first and get a connection from there. If you are planning on sightseeing while you’re in the Algarve, hiring a car is recommended. Faro Airport car hire companies include Gold Car, Hertz, Avis, Europcar, and Guerin, all of which have desks inside the terminal. Alternatively, a pre-booked airport transfer may be the easier option.
